ABOUT the rainbow lantern project

Lighting the path for our youth through embodied liberation and shared stories.

The Rainbow Lantern Project is a collaborative, LGBTQIA+ art initiative that celebrates resilience, identity, and the power of visibility. Through storytelling and photography, we honor the diverse journeys of LGBTQIA+ individuals while creating a vibrant tapestry of voices that lights the way for future generations.

What started as a simple idea—to gather stories and advice for our younger selves—has grown into a dynamic collective art exhibition. Each lantern represents the wisdom, struggles, joy, and liberation that define our community. From personal photos to heartfelt reflections, the Rainbow Lantern Project creates a space where every story matters and every light shines.

We believe that practicing embodied liberation—living openly, authentically, and without apology—offers hope and guidance to LGBTQIA+ youth navigating their own paths.

Celebrate. Reflect. Inspire.
Join us in honoring the resilience of our past, the truth of our present, and the possibilities of our future.
